Blueprint students Jerry and Valerie Kidd love to travel and do a lot of beach camping, specifically. They’re excited because they can see how their stock portfolio (which has grown 34% over their two years with me) will allow them to travel even more in the future.

Before Blueprint, the Kidds had a superfund managed by a financial advisor... like many people do. But they felt frustrated because they had no real input; the outcome was dictated solely by their advisor. So when Valerie saw me speak at an event, she knew she wanted to have a crack at managing her own money.

Through Blueprint, the couple learned how to manage risk, do the fundamentals, and conduct the research so they felt confident about safely investing in the stock market. They loved the control and independence Blueprint gave them.

They’ve taken their laptop to trade overseas with them and have even taken it on a motorbike trip across Northern New South Wales (Australia). All you need is an internet connection to check in with your portfolio. It gives you so much freedom to see the world while still making money.

The Kidds’ only complaint? “I just wish we’d done it 20 years ago.” :)
