Why Jane joined The Freedom Trader team
As a lifelong advocate for rural communities with a personal interest in the share market, Jane always believed there had to be a better way for farmers to create financial security beyond the land. That belief came to life in 2021, when she and her husband joined The Freedom Trader as students. What began as a search for off-farm income quickly evolved into something more – an empowering system that gave her confidence, clarity, and control over their financial future, all without unnecessary risk or stress. Terry’s plain-English approach made investing feel practical and achievable, even for someone with no prior experience. After experiencing the results firsthand, Jane knew she wanted to help others do the same. For her, joining the team is about helping rural families take back control – to help other farmers realise they don’t have to rely solely on the weather, the market, or outside forces to secure their future.

How Jane helps The Freedom Trader Community
Jane works closely with farming families and business owners to help them map out a path to financial freedom. In her 1-on-1 strategy sessions, she takes the time to understand each person’s goals, constraints, and cash flow, and connects them with practical investing tools they can actually use. Having once known nothing about investing and trading herself, she’s now guiding others to build confidence in a system that’s simple, structured, and empowering. Her farm-first perspective, paired with real-world results, makes her a trusted voice among the community – especially with those navigating the pressures of agriculture. Her focus is on helping students build peace of mind, not just portfolios.

Passions
Empowering rural families to become more financially independent and less reliant on unpredictable farm income, promoting mental health in rural Australia, and being a rock-solid presence for her four kids. She’s deeply committed to helping others feel seen, supported, and equipped to thrive—on and off the farm.

Interests
Reading, camping, exploring remote landscapes, and serving as the founding Chair of Ski for Life – a charity dedicated to mental health and suicide prevention in rural Australia.
